Privacy policy

FLOGVIT.puzzles is run by Vegard Hanssen. The service can be used without an account and without us storing anything about you. This page explains what is stored when you choose to use an account and Pluss.

Storage on your device

Play progress (boards in progress, solved puzzles, streak, settings) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to us unless you are logged in. We use no tracking or analytics tools and no third-party tracking cookies. Logged-in users get a strictly necessary session cookie (mn-session) and a theme preference (mn-theme).

What we store with an account

  • Email address, display name and a cryptographically hashed password (scrypt) — never the password itself.
  • With Pluss: solve statistics and favourites (which puzzles you solved, time, date), so progress can follow you across devices.
  • Subscription status from the payment provider (see below).

Email

We send email only for account confirmation, password reset and Pluss activation. Delivery uses Scaleway Transactional Email in the EU (Paris region). No newsletters, no sharing of your address.

Payments

Pluss is paid through Paddle, the merchant of record and data controller for the payment itself. Card data and billing details are stored by Paddle — never by us. We only receive the subscription status and a customer/subscription reference. See Paddle’s own privacy policy at paddle.com.

Your rights

You can view and change your account details on the account page at any time, and delete the account with all associated progress there (“Delete account”). Deletion is immediate and irreversible. For access, correction or other requests: Vegard.Hanssen@menneske.no.
